Vacature Customer Service Specialist - Native German

Omgeving Hilversum.

This game developer and publishing company is looking for a customer service specialist whose native language is German. Do you think you've got what it takes to provide an excellent online support experience? We are looking for an outgoing individual to help out the gamer communities on portals and social networks, such as Facebook etc.. The ideal candidate must be able to improve the relationship with the customers and be passionate about creating the best experience for the users. As an customer service specialist you will handle both game-related questions as well as payment questions.

The core tasks and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Answering game and payment-related emails on a daily basis;
  • Answering corporate (and other) emails on a daily basis;
  • Assisting and executing process related to the department, such as:
  • Translation processes
  • Tone of voice of responses
  • Quality monitoring of our websites
  • Aligning with internal and external partners and stakeholders to solve incidents and bugs and to propose ideas to improve the User Experience
  • (Technical) investigation of problems and solutions for them
  • Engaging with the community and users via our websites and social media
  • Answering occasional phone calls from users

Your Profile:

  • Native or close to native language proficiency in Dutch and German, both written and verbal
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of any other language (basic/intermediate) is s plus
  • Love and enthusiasm for social media and games
  • Previous customer support and/or forum-moderation experience, with focus on technical support
  • Team-oriented self-starter with the ability to plan, organize, and execute
  • Creative and pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Strong self-motivation and a high level of commitment
  • Sense of reward in helping people, solving problems, and proactively using that experience to improve services
  • Love of writing and sharing ideas with others
  • Willingness to work outside office hours when requested (we run an evening and weekend schedule)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows/MS Office
